MTN Mobile Money Uganda Limited (MTN MoMo) will be the official retailer of all tickets for the upcoming 2025 men’s Rugby Africa Cup.
Ordinary access tickets per matchday will be sold at UGX 30,000 while VIP access will cost UGX 60,000 and VVIP access will go for UGX 150,000.
Fans can purchase the tickets using the MTN MoMo app on their phones and by dialling the *165*20# USSD code.
The announcement was made on Friday morning during a press briefing held at the Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
MTN MoMo’s head of corporate affairs Dennis Kakonge also announced that there will be a limited offer of UGX 20,000 for the ordinary access tickets. These will be available for purchase until the tournament kicks off.
The 2025 men’s Rugby Africa Cup tournament will be played from July 8-19. The three matchdays will be Tuesday, July 8 (quarterfinals), semifinals on Sunday, July 13, and the grand final on Saturday, July 19.
During the press briefing, MTN MoMo and URU also renewed their partnership for a further three years.
