Tottenham Hotspur have completed the permanent transfer of French forward Mathys Tel, 20, from Bayern Munich. Tel, who played a key role in Spurs’ Europa League win during his loan spell, has signed a six-year deal.
He scored three goals in 20 appearances for Tottenham last season after joining in February.
Reports suggest the deal is worth around €35 million ($40.4 million).
Tel previously scored 16 goals for Bayern after signing from Rennes as a teenager.
The signing follows Tottenham’s recent appointment of Thomas Frank as their new manager, replacing Ange Postecoglou.
