Uganda’s travelling squad for the 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s 7s in Mauritius has been released.
Head coach Tolbert Onyango has made just one change from the squad which won the inaugural Kampala International 7s at Kings Park on June.
Captain Alex Aturinda replaces Patrick Okello who misses out on the trip due to illness.

The tournament will be played at the Labourdonnais Sports Club in Mapou, Mauritius from June 21-22. Unlike last year, there will be only one round.
In addition to the continental trophy, up for grabs is a ticket to Division 3 of the new World Rugby 7s Series.
Uganda, the defending champion, is in Pool A with Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and neighbours Kenya.
2025 men’s Rugby Africa 7s Pools:
• POOL A: Uganda, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana.
• POOL B: South Africa, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Nigeria.
• POOL C: Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Mauritius.
The travelling contingent will depart for Mauritius on Wednesday afternoon.
