Men’s National Pool League champions Roxberry and women’s champions Mukono Pool Club will officially receive their 2024/25 season trophies and medals on Sunday, June 22, as the season concludes with a fixture between Club 408 and Roxberry at Adi’s Spot.
The final encounter of this year’s National Pool League will be played at a neutral venue and is set to be broadcast live on NBS Sport with the action breaking off at 4:00 pm.
The early kick-off has been scheduled to accommodate the trophy-giving ceremony that will immediately follow the match.
While Roxberry have already sealed the title with a game to spare, their final fixture against Club 408 presents an opportunity to wrap up a dream campaign in style.
The Kiwanga-based side confirmed their championship status on Sunday, June 1, with a dominant 16-4 victory over Kireka, propelling them to 92 points, a mark no other side could reach.
Led by captain and league top scorer Ibra Sejjemba, Roxberry’s 2025 campaign has been one of clinical execution and unmatched depth.
The team’s road to glory included 24 wins, three draws, and only two defeats across 29 outings, a commanding run that ends Central Uganda’s two-year title drought.
They now join an illustrious roll of champions that includes giants such as Skin Samona, Scrap Buyers, and Ntinda Giants.
The final day will also see Mukono Pool Club officially crowned champions of the Women’s League.
Mukono concluded their title-winning campaign with a 16-4 rout of Silverbacks, capping a near-flawless season.
