Arsenal are in the midst of a busy transfer period, with talks underway to sign Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, a 20-year-old Spaniard who can play at centre-back and right-back.
Mosquera has made 90 appearances for Valencia and was a regular last season.
Adding to the activity, Christian Norgaard of Brentford is set to join for up to £15 million, with a medical imminent, and Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to complete a move from Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Arsenal has also secured its future with 18-year-old full-back Myles Lewis-Skelly signing a new five-year deal.
This follows Gabriel’s long-term contract signed earlier this month.
