Two batches of Rugby Cranes players and management have touched down at Entebbe Airport after completing Uganda’s tour of Namibia and South Africa.
The first batch arrived at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening and the second at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The Rugby Cranes played three matches during this two-week-long tour. These were; a test match against Namibia in Walvis Bay, and two trial matches against Limpopo Blue Bulls and Pumas in South Africa.

The Rugby Cranes won one match and lost two, the last being a record one-hundred-pointer against Currie Cup Premier Division club Pumas.
With just a week until the 2025 men’s Rugby Africa Cup kicks off, the home side are the first participating country to arrive in Uganda for the tournament.
Although thirty-four players took part in this tour, only twenty-eight will make the final squad for the Rugby Africa Cup.
