Arsenal are reportedly making a significant push to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, ready to challenge Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United.
The move comes as Arsenal faces difficulties securing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
Eintracht Frankfurt is expected to demand a hefty €100 million for the 23-year-old French forward, who scored 22 goals in 48 appearances last season.
While Chelsea has also been linked, the high transfer fee could deter some suitors.
With Arsenal’s pressing need for a new centre-forward, especially after stalled talks for Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres appearing set for Manchester United, the Gunners are looking to secure a top-tier striker before the Premier League season begins in August.
