Marcus Rashford is set to return to Manchester United for pre-season training on Monday, despite an ongoing rift with manager Ruben Amorim.
The 27-year-old forward spent the latter half of last season on loan at Aston Villa after being sidelined by Amorim.
United value Rashford at £40m, but no bids have been received.
Amorim previously stated he “couldn’t get Marcus to see the way you’re supposed to play football,” and sources close to Rashford indicated he was unlikely to play under the manager again.
Rashford himself recently expressed a desire to play for Barcelona.
Despite the strained relationship, sources confirm Rashford has no issue returning for pre-season.
The forward, who has scored 138 goals in 426 senior games for United, will join the squad for upcoming friendlies against Leeds and in the Premier League Summer Series.
