Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has confirmed his departure from the club after his contract expired without a new agreement.
Wilson, 33, leaves St James’ Park after five seasons, during which he scored 49 goals in 130 appearances.
Despite an injury-hit last season, he played a “huge part” in the club’s recent success.
In a statement, Wilson thanked fans, adding, “All good things come to an end, but there’s no doubt Newcastle United will always have a place in mine and my families hearts.”
He is now considering options from other Premier League clubs and Major League Soccer.
