Colombian striker Jhon Duran has made a swift return to European football, joining Turkish club Fenerbahce on a year-long loan.
This move comes just six months after his £71 million transfer from Aston Villa to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
Duran, 21, scored 12 goals in 18 matches for Al-Nassr, following a successful season at Aston Villa where he netted 12 goals in 29 games.
Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho and last season’s Turkish league runner-up, confirmed the agreement, stating, “We wish our player a season full of success under our striped jersey.”
