Four-time All-Star Devin Booker has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $145-million contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, securing his presence through the 2029-30 season.
This move brings much-needed stability to a franchise undergoing a significant overhaul.
The reported extension follows a turbulent offseason for the Suns, which saw the surprising trade of Kevin Durant to Houston and reports of potentially buying out Bradley Beal.
Phoenix also brought in new leadership, hiring Jordan Ott as head coach and promoting Brian Gregory to general manager.
Booker, 28, is the Suns’ all-time leader in points and 3-pointers.
He led the team to the 2021 NBA Finals and continued his strong play last season, averaging 25.6 points and 7.1 assists, despite the team missing the playoffs.
