Vipers have confirmed the signing of midfielder Enock Ssebaggala on a two-year deal, becoming the club’s second acquisition of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old arrives from NEC, where he enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season, featuring in 26 games across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering five assists.
His dynamic midfield presence helped NEC to a second-place finish in the Uganda Premier League.
Ssebaggala’s move adds further depth to Vipers’ midfield as the club prepares for a challenging campaign in both the CAF Champions League and the domestic competitions.
He is expected to compete for minutes alongside an already packed midfield that includes Marvin Youngman, Paul Mbowa, Karim Watambala, and Moses Waiswa.
His arrival comes shortly after he made his senior debut for the Uganda Cranes in a 1-1 friendly against The Gambia. He is also in the squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Ssebaggala will wear the number 8 jersey at Kitende, and the club says they are excited to welcome him into the fold.
