Manchester United paid tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva at Anfield, the home of their rivals Liverpool.
Led by manager Ruben Amorim and players Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, the United delegation laid a wreath among the many tributes outside the stadium.
The message on the wreath read: “Rest in peace Diogo and Andre. With deepest condolences from everyone at Manchester United.”
Jota, 28, a forward for Liverpool, and his brother Andre Silva, 25, both died in a car crash on July 3.
The tribute from Manchester United is one of many from across the football community.
Liverpool has retired Jota’s number 20 shirt, and his former club, Wolves, is exploring a permanent memorial for the brothers.
