Tyson Fury is eyeing a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk, though he won’t step back into the ring in 2025, according to his promoter Frank Warren.
Warren told the 5 Live Boxing podcast that while Fury, 36, is busy with a second Netflix series, he’s consistently “in the gym” for his “wellbeing” and has “made it clear he wants to fight Usyk.”
This follows Fury’s recent hints at a return, including a proposed April Wembley Stadium bout against Usyk, who currently holds the WBA, WBC, and WBO titles and faces Daniel Dubois this Saturday.
Warren dismissed the notion of a “tune-up” fight for Fury, stating the “Gypsy King” will likely want to go “straight in” against top competition if he returns.
A potential clash with Anthony Joshua or Daniel Dubois also remains a possibility.
