Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, 27, ha arrived in Barcelona to finalize a season-long loan move, with an option for the Spanish club to buy.
Rashford landed in Catalonia on Sunday night after United granted permission for the transfer. The deal, which includes an option to buy, was agreed in principle over the weekend.
The move comes after Rashford declared in December he was ready for a new challenge, having been dropped by United coach Ruben Amorim. This will be his second consecutive loan spell, following a stint with Aston Villa last season.
Rashford is expected to undergo a medical this week and aims to join Barcelona’s pre-season tour to Japan and South Korea, where he could potentially face former teammate Jesse Lingard’s FC Seoul.
