Uganda’s rising midfield star Allan Oyirwoth continued to gain valuable experience with New England Revolution II, playing the full 90 minutes in their commanding 3-0 win over Orlando City B on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.
Oyirwoth featured in the starting lineup and was active throughout the match, registering two shot attempts as he operated from the heart of midfield.
The teenager showed composure and energy across all phases of the game, helping Revolution II secure their fifth clean sheet of the season and extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
This was Oyirwoth’s latest outing with the Revolution II side, where he is getting consistent time alongside first-team prospects.
Paired with Eric Klein, the Ugandan youngster played a key role in keeping New England ticking in transition while also contributing defensively.
The match saw Gevork Diarbian score twice, including a penalty, with Alex Monis adding a third late on.
Revolution II next host Atlanta United 2 on July 30, and Oyirwoth will be hoping to build on this performance as he cements his place in the squad.
