Bridges Signs 4-Year Extension with Knicks

The New York Knicks have locked in a core piece of their future, with Mikal Bridges reportedly agreeing to a four-year, $150 million contract extension.

The deal, which includes a player option for the final year, secures Bridges’ long-term commitment to the team.

Acquired from the Brooklyn Nets last June for a package of five first-round picks, Bridges was a key player in the Knicks’ run to the Eastern Conference finals last season.

The NBA’s “Iron Man” is known for his defensive skills and durability, having played in every game of his NBA career.

He averaged 17.6 points in his first season with the Knicks, forming a dynamic trio with former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.

Bridges’ extension provides the Knicks with financial flexibility as they continue to build their roster, which also features new coach Mike Brown and recent additions Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele.
