Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to finalizing a loan move for Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Talks between the clubs are at an advanced stage, with an agreement in principle in place for a deal that includes an option for the 30-year-old to make the transfer permanent.
Palhinha, who spent two seasons with Fulham before his £42.3m move to Germany, has only made six Bundesliga starts for Bayern and is keen to return to the Premier League.
The potential signing follows Spurs’ recent deals for Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus.
