McLaren CEO Zak Brown says that his two drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, will not let their close championship battle lead to a falling out.
The teammates, who have won 11 of the 14 races this season, are separated by just nine points.
Brown is confident that their mutual respect and the team’s open communication will keep the competition from turning sour.
While he expects they might “swap paint again at some point,” he is “very confident it won’t be deliberate.”
Norris recently won the Hungarian Grand Prix, the last race before the summer break. The season will resume at the Dutch Grand Prix on August 29-31.
