Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has completed a permanent move to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Los Angeles FC for a league-record fee.
The transfer, confirmed by Tottenham, ends Son’s 10-year career with the London club.
According to BBC Sport, LAFC paid a record-breaking $26 million (£19.5m) for the 33-year-old forward.
Son, who was present at an LAFC match on Tuesday, departs Tottenham after scoring 173 goals in 454 appearances.
He captained the team to their first trophy in 17 years, a Europa League final victory in May.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy praised Son as “one of the greatest players to ever wear the famous Lilywhite shirt” and an “incredible human being.” Son will be reunited with his former Spurs teammate Hugo Lloris at LAFC.
