HR Professionals Gear Up for 3rd Annual Sports Gala at MUBS

The Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda (HRMAU) will host its 3rd Annual HR Sports Gala on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at the MUBS Sports Grounds in Kampala.

Themed “Healthy People, Productive Workplaces,” the event will bring together HR professionals from across the country for a day of sport, wellness, and community engagement.

Now in its third edition, the HR Sports Gala has become a signature event on the HRMAU calendar. It blends team sports and physical wellness with networking, entertainment, and public service.

Activities lined up for the day include football, netball, volleyball, athletics, Zumba, and other fun team-building games designed to promote fitness and workplace collaboration.

The gala will also feature an all-day blood donation drive, led by HRMAU members and open to the public. Organizers have called on all well-wishers to take part in the exercise and support the cause of saving lives.

“This event is more than just sport,” said the HRMAU Management. “It’s about promoting workplace wellness, uniting professionals across industries, and giving back to the community in meaningful ways.”

A growing list of sponsors and partners are backing this year’s gala, including NBS Sport, BrighterMonday, ICEA LION, Stanbic Bank, Rock Boom, SGA, C-Care, Red Cross, Antfeet, Oxide Chloride, Marie Stopes, UNIFI Microfinance, Moving Ads, and the Microfinance Support Centre.
