Manchester United have reached an agreement with Red Bull Leipzig to sign 22-year-old striker Benjamin Sesko in a deal worth up to £73.7 million.
The agreement includes a guaranteed fee of £66.3 million, with the rest coming in add-ons. Sesko, who was also a target for Newcastle, is set to complete a medical on Friday before finalizing his move to Old Trafford.
The Slovenia international has been a standout performer in Germany, scoring 39 goals in 87 appearances for Leipzig.
At 6ft 5in, Sesko brings a significant physical presence to the United attack and has been compared to Erling Haaland for his speed, strength, and finishing ability.
This signing is the latest in a series of attacking reinforcements for United this summer, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
