In a heartfelt tribute, Harry Kane has praised his former Tottenham teammate Son Heung-min, calling their connection “one of the best partnerships in Premier League history.”
The comments follow Son’s record-breaking transfer to Los Angeles FC.
The duo, who played together for nearly a decade, combined for 47 league goals. Son’s departure comes after a celebrated career at Spurs, where he scored 173 goals and helped the team secure their first trophy in 17 years by winning the Europa League title in May.
“As a player, we had one of the best partnerships in Premier League history,” Kane said. “We just had that connection that we loved.”
Kane, who is now with Bayern Munich, added that it was a “great way” for Son’s Tottenham career to end and wished his former teammate the best in his new chapter in Los Angeles.
