The Kibuli Old Students Association (KOSA) League returned in style on Sunday as Season 5 got underway at the Yes Arena Sports Center in Nsambya, drawing hundreds of alumni for a day that mixed competitive sport with health and wellness.
Sixteen teams, each representing different graduating classes, took to the pitch in a lively opener filled with tense match moments and plenty of school pride. While the football drew loud cheers, it was the sense of unity among old classmates that stood out most.
In a first for the league, this year’s kickoff also doubled as a health drive. Attendees had access to free on-site sickle cell testing and mental health services, including therapy and counseling, provided by Caring Minds.
The initiative aimed to encourage healthy living while strengthening bonds within the Kibuli alumni community.
NBS Sport, the league’s official media partner, will air live coverage throughout the season, ensuring alumni and fans can follow the action in the weeks ahead.
