A Manchester United supporters’ group, “The 1958,” has postponed a planned protest ahead of the Premier League opener against Arsenal.
The group cited a fan survey that showed a divided opinion among supporters regarding the minority ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS.
The protest was called off to avoid “red on red” conflict, with the survey indicating that while fans are willing to judge the new owners, a majority feel they should be given more time to prove themselves.
