Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing Parma’s 18-year-old defender, Giovanni Leoni, for roughly £26 million.
The club are also in talks with Crystal Palace for center-back Marc Guehi, who has a year left on his contract and is valued at £40 million.
According to a football journalist, Leoni is a “technically gifted” player who is strong in the air, and a move to Anfield would be a huge opportunity for him to develop alongside stars like Virgil van Dijk.
These potential transfers would add to Liverpool’s already significant summer spending, which has reached around £270 million.
The club also had a £110 million bid for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak rejected but may still pursue the player.
If Liverpool were to successfully sign all three players—Leoni, Guehi, and Isak—their total spending would exceed £400 million.
