Borussia Dortmund is in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and defender Aaron Anselmino.
Dortmund is pushing for a permanent transfer for Chukwuemeka, who is valued at £21 million to £40 million.
The 21-year-old is reportedly keen on the move, with his desire to play under manager Edin Terzic being a key factor.
The German club also wants to bring in Anselmino on a loan deal to address defensive shortages. Chelsea is open to this arrangement but has tied it to the permanent sale of Chukwuemeka.
Both clubs are currently in negotiations, with Dortmund confident of securing at least one of the players before the transfer window closes.
