The 2025 Johnnie Walker Uganda Ladies Open will conclude this Saturday with more than just action on the greens, as Lugazi Hills Golf and Country Club prepares to host the She Walks Sip Over, a celebration dedicated to spotlighting women making strides in golf and beyond.
The stylish evening is part of Johnnie Walker’s She Walks Mentorship Program and will feature a regal gold-and-black dress code. Guests can expect live music, whisky mentorship sessions, curated Johnnie Walker cocktails, premium bottle service, elegant décor, and a unique networking platform to honor trailblazing women.
“This is more than just a celebration; it is a movement to uplift women making strides, both on the course and beyond,” said Christine Kyokunda, Johnnie Walker Uganda Brand Manager. “Through initiatives like the Sip Over, Johnnie Walker aims to create spaces where women can connect, celebrate their achievements, and continue breaking barriers with confidence and style.”
This year’s Sip Over marks the second edition dedicated to women in golf, following a successful debut last year. The event will cap off the championship in a blend of elegance and vibrance, staying true to Johnnie Walker’s Keep Walking spirit.
On the sporting front, the Ladies Open has already drawn some of the region’s finest talent, with Tanzania’s Iddy Madina returning to defend her title in what promises to be a thrilling finale.
The She Walks Sip Over is set to close the tournament in grand fashion, celebrating both athletic excellence and women’s progress across different fields.
