Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Czech defender Ladislav Krejci from Girona on an initial loan, with a permanent deal worth £26 million planned.
The 26-year-old, who can also play in midfield, is the latest addition for a Wolves side that has lost its first two Premier League games.
Meanwhile, the club is also working to keep star forward Jorgen Strand Larsen. Wolves have rejected two bids from Newcastle for the striker, who recently scored twice in an EFL Cup match.
Manager Vitor Pereira said he wants to keep Larsen, but added that in football, “every player has a price.”
