For the first time this year, men’s pools for a stop on the 2025 Nile Special Uganda Rugby 7s Series do not have an outright pool of death.
There is a balanced spread of pedigree and form in the pools following the live draws held on NBS Sport on Monday morning.
Men’s Pools for 2025 Kyabazinga 7s (non-core invitational team):
• POOL A: Pirates, Rhinos, Elgon Wolves, Njeru Hurricanes*.
• POOL B: Walukuba Barbarians, Rams, Gulu City Falcons, Kakira Simbas*.
• POOL C: Hippos, Heathens, Eagles, Mbale Elephants*.

Pool A in the women’s competition has three Cup Final winners— Black Pearls, Avengers and Nile Rapids— battling for two spots into the knockouts.
