Manchester United have agreed to a deal to sign Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp for an initial 21 million euros (£18.1m) plus add-ons.
The 23-year-old is traveling to Manchester to sign a five-year contract with the club.
The signing of Lammens brings an end to United’s pursuit of Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez.
The move comes as the club seeks to address goalkeeping issues, with recent errors from current keepers Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana.
Lammens, a Belgian youth international, joined Royal Antwerp on a free transfer in 2023.
He has since made 64 appearances for the club, winning the Belgian Super Cup in 2023.
He received his first call-up to the senior national team in March 2025 and is viewed as a potential long-term successor to Belgian national team keeper Thibaut Courtois.
