Ruben Loftus-Cheek is poised for a return to the England squad, seven years after his last international appearance.
The AC Milan midfielder is set to be called up for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
The 29-year-old, who has 10 caps for his country, last played for England in November 2018.
The recall comes as a result of an injury to Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, who is now a doubt for the two matches.
England manager Thomas Tuchel previously coached Loftus-Cheek during his time in charge of Chelsea. The player has been in good form, recently scoring for AC Milan in their win at Lecce.
England will host Andorra on Saturday, September 6, before traveling to face Serbia on Tuesday, September 9.
