Mohamed Salah has publicly criticized a prominent Liverpool fan account for being “disrespectful” to his former teammates, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.
The controversy began when the fan account, Anfield Edition, posted a graphic celebrating Liverpool’s new signings, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak, alongside Diaz and Nunez with the caption, “Name a bigger upgrade in footballing history.”
Salah quickly replied on X, stating, “How about we celebrate the great signings without disrespecting the PL champions?”
Both Diaz and Nunez were part of Liverpool’s title-winning squad before their respective transfers this summer.
