The Football Association (FA) has announced it will not appeal the decision to clear West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta of four spot-fixing charges.
An independent regulatory commission found the charges to be “not proven” following an investigation that began in August 2023.
The Brazil international was accused of deliberately getting booked to improperly affect the betting market in four Premier League games in late 2022 and 2023.
While cleared of the spot-fixing charges, Paqueta was found to have breached two counts of failing to cooperate with the investigation.
The regulatory commission will determine an appropriate sanction for these proven breaches at a later date.
Paqueta, who joined West Ham in August 2022 for an initial £36.5 million, helped the club win the Europa Conference League in his first season.
