On the men’s side, captain Thomas Khedi will be joined by Amanyire Gilles, Akram Matovu, and George Guma. The women’s group features Christine Birungi, who will lead teammates Rhonah Namutebi, Anita Nakyazze, and Jackline Naula.

Coach Onesimus Atamba will guide the squad, expressing optimism about Uganda’s readiness to compete. He noted the team has prepared well and is capable of delivering strong performances against the world’s best.

The contingent departs for Thailand on Saturday, September 6, ahead of a busy week of competition where they will aim to add to Uganda’s growing presence in international woodball.
