Pierre Gasly has signed a new contract with Alpine, securing his position with the French Formula 1 team through the 2028 season.
The 29-year-old, a one-time Grand Prix winner, has been with the team since 2023 and has scored two podiums for them.
The move shows strong support for Gasly from executive director Flavio Briatore. Gasly expressed his pride in continuing with a French team, stating, “I’m thrilled to commit my long-term future to Alpine.”
While Gasly’s seat is confirmed, the team has not yet decided on its second driver for 2026.
The position is currently held by Franco Colapinto, who replaced Jack Doohan earlier in the season.
