Liverpool extended their flawless start to the Premier League season with a 2-1 victory over rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
Ryan Gravenberch was the key player, scoring the opening goal in the 10th minute and then assisting Hugo Ekitike for the second in the 29th minute.
Everton improved in the second half, with Idrissa Gueye pulling a goal back in the 58th minute, but the Reds held on to secure their fifth consecutive win.
The victory maintains Liverpool’s position at the top of the table.
