Corporate Games Taps BLACKLYF and Solace Graphix for Maternal Health Drive at 2025 Corporate Run

The 2025 Corporate Run has secured major backing from BLACKLYF Electronics and Solace Graphix in a campaign dedicated to maternal health.

Organized by Corporate Games Uganda, this year’s event will run under the theme “Running for Expectant Mothers; because no mother should die while giving a life.”

The initiative is designed to rally companies, employees, and communities around the urgent need for safer deliveries across Uganda. The partnerships bring both logistical support and direct impact, strengthening the event’s reach and purpose.

BLACKLYF will manage kit distribution from its Ntinda office and Acacia Mall outlet, alongside activations that highlight its audio gear and lifestyle products.

Head of Marketing and Brand Mourice Aliganyira said the company was proud to contribute. “Maternal health is a shared responsibility, and as BLACKLYF, we are honored to contribute to a cause that safeguards the lives of mothers and children. Every step taken in this run symbolizes hope, support, and commitment to a healthier Uganda.”

Solace Graphix will focus on supplying Mama Kits, the basic packages that equip mothers for safe deliveries.

Managing Director Nicholas Mugerwa said the choice reflected the firm’s values. “As a company, we wanted to join a good cause. Companies should not only be about making profit, it should be about giving back to the community, and this is what we believe in at Solace.”

Corporate Games Chairman Ian Rumanyika called the partnerships a statement of intent.

“The Corporate Run for Expectant Mothers is a pioneering initiative that reflects our deep commitment to inclusive and supportive spaces within the corporate world. By partnering with BLACKLYF and Solace Graphix, we are promoting wellness while sending a powerful message about maternal health, work-life balance, and recognition of women at every stage of life and career.”

The Corporate Run has become a fixture on Uganda’s wellness and corporate calendar, known for blending fitness, networking, and philanthropy.

With maternal health now at the center of its 2025 edition, organizers are calling on more companies, institutions, and individuals to join the cause and make a difference in the lives of mothers across the country.
