Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, 22, has been named England’s Men’s Player of the Year for the 2024-25 campaign, winning the award in a vote by supporters.
The dynamic midfielder secured the top spot ahead of Declan Rice and Harry Kane.
Bellingham’s victory is notable as he is only the second player ever to win the award while playing for a club outside of England.
He registered five goal involvements in eight appearances during a season that saw England gain Nations League promotion and begin their World Cup qualifying campaign under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
Having recently recovered from shoulder surgery, the influential player is expected to rejoin the squad for the upcoming matches against Wales and Latvia.
Football experts view Bellingham’s crucial role and quality as a “major factor” if Tuchel is to lead the Three Lions to World Cup glory next summer.
