Lille’s Ethan Mbappé, the 18-year-old brother of Kylian, scored a dramatic late equaliser against his former club, Ligue 1 leaders Paris St-Germain, forcing a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Defending champions PSG took the lead in the 66th minute when substitute Nuno Mendes scored a sensational free-kick.
However, Mbappé, who was released by PSG in 2024, came off the bench and levelled the score in the 85th minute with a clinical finish.
Mbappé celebrated with his brother Kylian’s trademark crossed-arm pose.
Kylian, who also left PSG in 2024 for Real Madrid, was seen cheering from the stands, having scored for his new club the previous day. The goal marks Ethan’s second senior career strike.
