Chelsea are reportedly unbothered by the recent public drama surrounding Moisés Caicedo’s change of agent, remaining confident in the midfielder’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
The controversy arose when Caicedo publicly confirmed his split with his former agent and appointed Chris Farnell of IPS Law.
An initial statement, which was later deleted, included a clumsy line about appointing “people he can trust,” leading to speculation and media intrigue amid links to Real Madrid.
Despite the agent spat, Chelsea is reportedly “not worrying” and “have no concern” about the situation affecting the star’s contract, which runs until at least 2031.
Into his third season, the 23-year-old has been an ever-present force, leading Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville to recently label him the “best midfield player in the league” on current form.
The club views the saga as minor off-field noise that won’t disrupt the star player’s commitment.
