Raul Fernandez secured his maiden MotoGP victory at the Australian Grand Prix, finishing 1.418 seconds ahead of Fabio di Giannantonio.
The 24-year-old Trackhouse rider, in his 76th grand prix, pulled away on lap 10 to dominate the race.
Marco Bezzecchi, who won the sprint, finished third after being hampered by two long lap penalties.
World champion Marc Marquez missed the race due to shoulder surgery following a crash in Indonesia.
His brother, Alex Marquez, finished fourth, virtually guaranteeing him the runner-up spot in the overall standings, now 97 points clear of Bezzecchi with three races remaining.
