The October edition of the MTN Monthly Tee drew 188 golfers to Entebbe Golf Club on Saturday, marking another lively outing in the popular series.
Played under the theme “Driving Growth and Strong Partnerships,” the event highlighted MTN’s collaboration with Equity Bank and other partners in promoting the sport.
The day belonged to Mulungi Sseruwo, who claimed the overall winner’s trophy with an impressive 63 net off a 28 handicap, while Bryan Mbasa produced a stunning 58 net, also off a 28 handicap, to take home the guest winner’s prize.
In the men’s categories, Joseph Adrapi topped Group A with a 71 net, narrowly beating Michael Tumusiime (72 C/B). Collins Aritua dominated Group B with a 65 net ahead of Arthur Ronald Arinaitwe (67), while Jamil Maningi edged Group C with a 67 net, followed by Musa Baguma (69).
Among the ladies, Barbra Kiwanuka and Peace Hellen shared the spotlight after carding 66 net each, with Rukia Nalwoga close behind on 69 net. Maxi Byenkya rounded out the top performances with 75 net.
Veteran golfer Richard Mucunguzi continued his consistent form, taking the Seniors 55+ title with a 69 net off a 16 handicap.
This month’s edition stood out not just for the strong turnout but also for the collaborative spirit, as Equity Bank joined MTN in hosting the event alongside partners CFAO Mobility, WTW, Castle Lite, and MoMo from MTN.
