NBS Sport Partners with Yambala 4Me to Promote Health, Safety, and Tourism

NBS Sport, under the Next Media Services umbrella, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yambala 4Me to promote health, safety, and tourism through the upcoming Health, Safety & Tourism Festival set for November 15–16 at Lake Saaka in Fort Portal.

The festival, themed “Wear to Live, Live to Explore Uganda,” will combine adventure, sport, and awareness campaigns in an engaging two-day experience.

Participants can expect a packed program featuring the much-anticipated Uganda vs USA Fight Night, campfire fitness sessions, live music, bull roasting, and the famous nyama choma experience.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at Next Media Park in Naguru, Andrew Kabuura, Head of Sports Broadcast at Next Media, highlighted the importance of the collaboration and NBS Sport’s commitment to supporting initiatives beyond Kampala.

“For us at NBS Sport, our plan is to champion Ugandan sport. This partnership is even more beautiful because it takes us out of Kampala—we’re heading to Fort Portal for the fight night,” Kabuura said. He confirmed that both NBS Sport and Afro Mobile will broadcast the action live.

Kabuura also praised Moses Golola’s long-standing contribution to Ugandan sport, describing the partnership as one rooted in shared community values.

“This is very personal because Golola and his team have championed Ugandan sport for over a decade. Partnering with a legend who is changing lives across Uganda is a great move. For us, any cause that involves the community is our cause,” he added.

Ronnie One Mugambwa, CEO of Yambala 4Me, expressed gratitude to Next Media for coming on board. “We appreciate Next Media for giving us this opportunity to partner on the Yambala Fight Night,” he said.

The festival will bring together tourism bodies, health organizations, and local communities to create an inclusive experience.

Entry packages are priced to accommodate everyone—UGX 10,000 for kids, UGX 20,000 for students, UGX 50,000 for regular attendees, and UGX 1,000,000 for VIP tables.
