Kawempe, She Corporate Keep Momentum as Women Super League Heats Up

Matchday Five of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League brought fireworks and rain-soaked drama on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and She Corporate continued to assert their dominance in the title race.

At the Kawempe grounds, teenage captain Agnes Nabukenya stole the show with two moments of brilliance to lead her side to a 2–0 victory over She Maroons.

The skipper first converted from the penalty spot before sealing the win with a sublime free kick, maintaining Kawempe’s unbeaten streak and extending their winning run to four games.

In Masindi, She Corporate showed their resilience and championship mentality with a thrilling 2–1 comeback win against Lady Doves.

Resty Kobusobozi had given the hosts an early advantage, but Leticia Nakyeyune struck her first league goal to level matters before halftime.

With the game heading for a draw, Jesca Namanda popped up late to score the decisive goal, keeping the Sharks at the top with 13 points from five matches.

Elsewhere in Mbale, Amus College WFC and Asubo Ladies played out a goalless draw. Despite creating several scoring opportunities, Asubo had to settle for a point but still stretched their unbeaten run to three games.

The league action resumes on Sunday, November 2, with three more fixtures: Makerere University host Uganda Martyrs at Makerere, Kampala Queens face Olila High School at Lugogo, and Rines SS WFC welcome St Noa Girls to Wakiso.
