Panthers beat Mbale Eagles in round two of the 2025 women’s Uganda Cup at the former Legends/Kampala Rugby Club.
The senior Kampala Old Boys (KOBs) women’s club put thirty-eight unanswered points over a handicapped Mbale Eagles who had travelled with just fifteen players for the match.
Tiko Latifah (2), Zillah Halima, Brenda Kayiyi Evelyn Angom and Loy Mbabazi scored the tries while Latifah and Leticia Faustina (3) kicked the conversions.
It was a dominant display in the match which ended prematurely after fifty minutes. This is because Mbale Eagles suffered injuries and got yellow cards which reduced the team below the required-by-law minimum twelve players for a match to proceed.
Zauma Nashuha was named the Player of the Match.
