Career Path
Born and raised in Uganda, Mato’s football roots trace back to Lweza FC, where his energy and pace quickly caught attention. A move to Proline FC followed, where he played a key role in their promotion campaign before joining KCCA FC, one of Uganda’s most successful clubs.
His exploits at KCCA opened the door to European football, first with Şanlıurfaspor in Turkey, then Brera Strumica in North Macedonia, where he matured into a complete attacking threat. His outstanding form earned him a mid-season transfer to FK Vardar Skopje, where he continues to flourish.
