Paris St-Germain secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, with Portugal midfielder João Neves heading home the decisive winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time (90’+5).
The win sends the defending champions back to the top of the Ligue 1 table.
The match at the Groupama Stadium was a high-scoring affair. PSG took the lead twice in the first half through Warren Zaire-Emery (26′) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (33′), but Lyon responded with goals from Afonso Moreira (30′) and Ainsley Maitland-Niles (50′).
The late drama unfolded after Lyon defender Nicolas Tagliafico was sent off in the 93rd minute for a second bookable offence.
Neves capitalized moments later, converting a corner to seal the 3-2 victory.
The result puts Luis Enrique’s side two points clear at the summit of the Ligue 1 table.
