Toronto Raptors star Brandon Ingram has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for his furious courtside meltdown on Saturday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Ingram, visibly frustrated after suffering an injury and being taken out of the game, slammed a water bottle onto the court.
The bottle bounced up and struck a 76ers staff member in the face, causing a delay as the liquid was mopped up.
Executive Vice President James Jones announced the disciplinary action on Monday.
The 28-year-old forward, who finished the loss with 21 points, drew widespread criticism on social media for appearing not to apologize or help clean up the mess he created.
The incident occurred in the third quarter of the Raptors’ 130-120 loss. Ingram, an All-Star in 2020, was traded to Toronto in February 2025.
