Netball Uganda has confirmed a 14 player squad for the Celtic Cup in Glasgow, with experienced shooter Racheal Nanyonga appointed team captain.
Ajion Lilian will serve as her assistant as the She Cranes head into the event set for 26 to 30 November at the Emirates Arena.
The tournament will feature national teams from Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, along with invited sides Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
Uganda is expected to field a strong group as the team continues to build depth and consistency against top opposition.
The squad includes Mary Nuba, Lilian Achola, Margaret Bagaala, Christine Nakitto, Shaffie Nalwanga, Shakira Nasaka, Gloria Ayaa, Namukose Sopecioza, Kadondi Faridah, Akello Malisera, Nassanga Shadia Segujja, and Namulema Fildauce.
Uganda will open its campaign against Namibia on 26 November, followed by Northern Ireland on 27 November and Scotland on 28 November. The team will then face Zimbabwe on 29 November before closing the event against Wales on 30 November.
